CONDITION AND VALUE SURVEYS
All pre-purchase surveys are priced to include a thorough onboard inspection scrutinizing the vessel’s construction and structural integrity with percussion sounding and moisture analysis; identify and operate all systems to ensure functionality and proper installation; an out-of-the-water inspection of the exterior hull, bottom, and underwater metals and running gear; sea trial with inspection of machinery and machinery spaces while underway. Following the inspection, a formal typed report will be prepared with findings and recommendations, pictures, and fair market value of the vessel.

Surveys intended for insurance purposes only are priced to include the same level of scrutiny to vessel’s construction and structural integrity, except, moisture analysis is not normally performed, soft spots noted. Systems are identified and notated for deficiencies in condition and installation. Not all systems are operated for proper functionality, and sea trials are not normally performed.
